An experiential musical-theatrical performance about trees

Intended for visitors aged 6 to 11.
FRENE and MILOŠ find a large wooden book in the hollow of Slovenia’s oldest tree, a larch in the Mala Pišnica valley. The book is actually a guide from our oldest larch tree to its tree friends around the world. It suggests that whoever finds it should gather their tribe and set off on a journey. So Frene and Miloš set off on their way with an unusual bicycle that can ride on the road and fly through the air. Every visitor has a drum in front of them and is thus part of the tribe. Drumming itself (on congas, djembes) is the “fuel” that allows the performers and visitors to travel around the world together.
This is a unique eco-friendly musical performance in which every visitor drums! You can watch the video presentation HERE.
The performance DRUM OUT THE STORY OF THE TREE! addresses children and their companions through the following themes:
– odgovorno obnašanje do narave je naša potreba in prihodnost;
– trees are an important factor in ecological balance
– responsible use of wood;
– ecology of travel, renewable resources;
– through collaboration and mutual support, we reach our goal(s) faster;
– you can do it, you just have to believe in yourself!
